There is plenty of room for car parking at Spring Lea. Disabled anglers can bring their cars right to the waters edge, behind many of the pegs, on parts of all four pools.

For everyone else, the car park is just a few yards from Mallard, Horseshoe and orfe pools.

Kingfisher and Trevors Pool are the furthest away, offering some more secluded pegs.

The Bait Box is our snack bar serving hot and cold food and drinks at reasonable prices. Snacks, such as crisps and chocolate are also available. There are lost of places to sit and eat, or take your food away to your fishing pegs. Competitors in club and open matches can order food and drinks to be delivered to pegs during the match.

Tuesday to Friday - 10 o'clock to 2 o'clock and 5 o'clock to 6 o'clock
Saturday - 9 o'clock to 2 o'clock and 5 o'clock to 7 o'clock
Sunday - 9 o'clock to 7 o'clock
Mondays - Closed

We have now opened the new toilet and shower block for the touring caravans. Use of the showers is included in the pitch place. We now have electric hookups for the touring pitches. See our caravan page for more details.

We also sell most kinds of baits.

In the nearby villages of Hanwood and Pontesbury there are a number of shops, pubs and takeaways. Shrewsbury is only 10 minutes drive away, with all the facilities you would expect in the historic county town of Shropshire.
